Created by two young men from Cleveland, Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, Superman was an instant success and of lasting impact on popular culture. Jerry Siegel's daughter, Laura Siegel-Larson, a successful newsperson whom he called the real Lois Lane, will speak of her father, his comic-book creations, and his importance to American culture.
