This year is the 75th anniversary of the founding of Arkham House, the specialty publisher founded by August Derleth and Donald Wandrei to issue fine hardcover editions of the works of H. P. Lovecraft. Over the years Arkham House expanded its mission to publish works by Ray Bradbury, Robert E. Howard, Frank Belknap Long, Clark Ashton Smith, Robert Bloch, Greg Bear, August Derleth himself, and many others. The classic Arkham editions are highly prized and much sought after by collectors.
